My stay in January was not my first visit to Sapphire Beach and I have previously stayed at this condo, all with my pleasure meeting great expectations. It is clean and beautifully maintained and, since my last visit before this year, the furnishings and kitchen have been remodeled and updated. The view from the two decks are amazing, overlooking the beach and Caribbean blue waters. The air conditioning is perfect, but the water cooled breezes are delightful and I usually kept the deck screen doors open in the daytime, using the A/C only on still nights. The amenities for snorkeling and beach sitting are great. The property is nicely situated away from Charlotte Amalie's overcrowding and hustle-bustle, but there is plenty of activity in the nearby village of Red Hook for dining and island shopping, not to mention the convenient ferry ride of 20 minutes to St John. And if you are headed to other islands, the harbor at Sapphire Beach has all the tours you need in walking distance. Altogether a great place to stay, the property or the specific condo. Hope this helps you decide. I know I look at these reviews when I am looking for a vacation. The upstairs master bedroom is very private with its own bathrooom and deck/patio and there is a convertible sofa that sleeps two more there. The main floor convertible sleeper is in the living room/DR area and is also very comfortable and has its own full bath as well. Sleeps two more. Four people (whether two couples or a couple with two children) is very comfortable, but six can be OK if privacy is not a factor.

Absolutely fantastic vacation. The condo made it for us...clean, nicely decorated and homey. The view from the balcony was like a post card. We were very comfortable just hanging out in the condo and watching movies, fixing breakfast or whatever. The staff was very friendly and catered to our needs above and beyond expectations. Everywhere we went as we talking with people and telling them where we were staying they would always comment about Sapphire Beach being the best beach in St. Thomas. The restaurants in Red Hook were awesome and very close by. Our favorite turned out to be Latitude 18 which was a little tough to get to but very much worth it. We went twice. There is no question that when we go back to St. Thomas we are staying in the same place which is what we now refer to our "St. Thomas home."

The description is more than accurate! You are within walking distance of the beautiful white sand beach, and this bay is a snorkeler's paradise! We got up early each morning at sunrise (breathtaking!) and walked to the beach. Quiet and peaceful - the staff is very attentive to anything you need. It is the perfect place to stay in St. Thomas - easy to find, excellent accomodations - we would return in a heartbeat! And definitely will!

We have stayed in this condo 2 times. Once just my husband and I and the second time we brought our kids. Both times were FANTASTIC! The condo is very elegant, very clean, spacious, and well equipped! The view is breath taking! The most relaxing vacation we have ever had. It was a vacation of a lifetime. The kids are asking when we are going back! LOVED IT BOTH TIMES!
